B elow is a list of my "Best of the Net" recommendations and Build A Website Now tools to get you started with building your own website when you have no prior website building experience and have no clue what to do first.

These resources assume that:

 You want to get started as quickly as possible and want to start making an income as soon as possible.  

 You do not know any website building programming languages and have no desire to learn html right now.  

 You are on a tight budget but have just a little money to invest in getting started with your new online business.  

 You want programs and software that will take you by the hand and lead you step by step to build your own website with no guess work involved 

Basically, you will need at least one--and possibly all three--of these tools to build your own website and succeed on the net.

Welcome to Build a Website Now and congratulations on accepting the challenge to build your very own website this year.

My name is Loretta and I am the General Manager of JusLo and Associates, an online company which primarily specializes in the online promotion of health and wellness products and information.

I am also the Editor and Publisher of several websites, including RecallingHealth.com, one of the first websites I built. 

I can tell you that learning to build a website can be easy or it can be hard. Until I discovered the right tools, it was very confusing. I have already written about how I got started building my first site, so I won't go into the details again here.

But I do remember how scary this new adventure was initially. After my first introduction to the possiblity of building my own website, and after hearing the workshop presenters talk about how much it would cost to get a site up and running, I also wondered if I would ever have the funds to pursuit my dream of using my computer to work from home.

As my old psych professor used to say--well he wasn't so old back then--he used to say that the mark of an educated man was not that he knew the answers to everything, but that he knew how to go about finding the answers.

So with that thought permanently burnt in my brain, it was not long before I started researching the web to find the answers to the questions of: 

1. how to build a website with no prior experience and without going back to school 
2. how to build a website with very little money, and finally
3. how to create an income from an online website business. 
4. how to keep from being ripped off from all the online marketers selling partial solutions. 

On this page you will find three programs that will assist you in realizing your goal of creating your own website to be used for whatever purpose you see fit. I have used all these programs. The first one is actually an all-in-one program, and if you are on a budget, this is where you should start. And if you know nothing about building a website, this program is again, the place to start.

If you will be building more than one website, the website building software mentioned below, Xsite Pro, will make this process seamless and less costly.

First: You will need to get an education on how to build successful websites.

This will be your foundation for success. It is the pouring of the cement. This step is crucial if you are looking to make your living online. There are lots of free resources to help you accomplish this task as expediously as possible. But let's cut through the chase...

Second: You will need to find website building software that does not require you to know any programming language or html in order to build your website.

In the future you will learn just a little html by default (osmosis), but unless you want to, you will never have to take a computer class on website building or html if you get your hands on the right software. So let's cut through the chase...

 Third: You will need to find a website hosting company that supports you in your goal of earning your living online.

Right now you may not know what all is needed, but you will want to have a web hosting company that is affordable and in the business of helping its clients succeed.

They do that by providing an array of services: hosting, email capabilities, newsletter building capabilities, affiliate programs or information, snap in scripts such as forms to collect information from your site visitors/customers, statistical tracking to let you know which pages your visitors view and general stats on what keywords they used to find your site, and more.

They also let you host as many subdomains as you want. So let's cut through the chase and get it done...

Having gotten a lot of education on the web since building my first site, and after having built more than 10 top ranking websites in the past two years, my top choice in each category are listed above. These are all programs that I have used/or am using and love, and have gotten all the support I needed to not just be on the net, but to love being on the net. These programs are not toys. They are not free. They are all business tools, and consequently generally tax deductible when you file your taxes for your new home based business. No, I am not an accountant, so you'll need to check with yours. These business tools are all that you will need to begin your online career and to begin seeing checks in the mail.

Now, you may note that I did not list anything about making money with your site, or marketing your site, or why you need a newsletter with your site.
